You don't know me as a photographer. Here, I want to highlight my photographic "tunnel vision" that I acquired from my readings and views of master painters some 50 years ago at the library of Xavier University in Cagayan de Oro City.

PH Transformation – Via Ron Amos Jr’s “Cultural Revolution” Or Frank A Hilario’s “Agri-Cultural Revolution”?

Thursday morning, 29 April 2021, at about 0830 hours, I read Ron Amos Jr’s “The Need For A Cultural Revolution” as his “Transit Dialog” Facebook post, all 722 words excluding byline, and I have been moved to respond via this essay – because what Mr Amos is sharing is 100% problem and 0% solution! Mr Amos says: What we need is to reimagine and reinvent the country and ourselves: a cultural revolution that will create not only our identity but also our unified spirit. How we do it is by transitioning from the medieval age of rule by influence, wealth, creed, and power towards a society that willingly balances the individual and the community, freedom and restraint, and privileges and duties. Let’s Redefine Beauty. But I Would Not Like To Redefine Patriotism

First, there is a hugely important word not found in Secretary of Agriculture William Dar/Manong Willie’s “The New Thinking For Agriculture” and its accompanying “Eight Paradigms,” but it is there: Patriotism . (Patriotism image from CooINSmart [1] ) About it, beloved American novelist & wit Mark Twain says of it: Patriotism is supporting your country all the time and your government when it deserves it. I say patriotic is Manong Willie’s New Thinking, his all-out support for his country in the wide field of Agriculture; and being an obedient cabinet member to President Du30. Senator Bong Go has proposed a nationwide program called “Balik Probinsya [2] ” ( Living & Loving in the Villages , my free translation). Manong Willie publicly supports it.
